Will the ARRI Alexa finally kill film
A New Camera from Arri. I’m unsure about the Camera, although the censors ( according to Arri ) Are very sensitive and compares to a 35mm. If I had a choice i’d probably still take an old faithfull Panavision, Besides that though the price has me hesistant. Right now Id say that the Red one has the upper hand.

Well I have finished a short just yesterday and thought I’d post some before and after shots.

The film began shooting at 8:00pm, so I needed to bring in some lights.
This is what I had after the lights were brought in, It needs some help.

The new workflow
Its been an issue working with HD, for the first time editing. But I’ve now got a new work flow that I’m excited about! Thanks to Phillip Bloom, He gives an alternitive system to work. Basically my issue was a lag inside final cut pro using the canon 7D ( 1920x1080p 24 fps) footage. I now have a new way of doing projects without skipping a beat in the time line! Even with filters!

I’ve had this 3-D Camera and its brochures for years and realized how neat the beveled text/design are. They’re a retro 80’s designs and I took some shots, hope you like it.

More than just a lightbulb.
Thomas Edison was quite a guy! I’ve found this old film of ( what they say at least)
as his creation. Fun at a Bakery . It was shot on 35mm film @ 24 fps. I think its interesting that the same ‘format’ used in the early 1900’s is still being used today.

I have had an issue of getting data files to and from people before, for a couple of reasons. because there are only two ways of getting data back and forth, Either my ftp or a host like sharit or dropbox It gets tricky, because both are limited.
